News From the 2019 World Series of Poker: June 25

Welcome to your poker news update for June 25th, the 28th day of the 2019 World Series Of Poker. The $10K Pot Limit Omaha Championship will play down to a winner today. The final eight players return today to battle it out for a bracelet and a top prize of $1,086,967.
Today, we will also crown a winner in the $800 No Limit Hold ‘Em Deepstack Event. 10 players return to play for a $371,203 top prize. That’s a substantial first place prize for an $800 buy in event! Amir Lehavot is the only player remaining with a WSOP bracelet. He won the $10K Pot limit Hold em championship in 2011, but he might be better known to poker fans for his 3rd place finish in the 2013 WSOP Main Event.
We will also have a winner in the $1500 Razz event. Notable poker players Scott Clements and Jennifer Tilly are two of the 15 remaining players.
There are other big events going on at the Rio today. First up is the $1500 Monster Stack Event. Only 49 players remain from the original MONSTER field of 6035.
The 1k tag team no limit hold ‘em also returns today.
The prestigious $50K Poker Players’ Championship continues today. So far, the event received 64 players but registration remains open for several hours today. Historically, this event has always attracted the biggest names in poker and this year is no exception. Justin Bonomo, Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, and Daniel Negreanu are just a few of the names who have already jumped in this tournament.
